“Art, Colour, and a Bit of Chaos.”
I’m Caz — A mixed media artist, colour enthusiast, and storyteller who believes creativity is a way of moving through the world, not just something that happens on a page. My work blends texture, colour, humour, and lived experience, shaped by a life that has demanded resilience, reinvention, and a deep commitment to joy.
Art has always been my anchor. I create the way I dress: intuitively, playfully, and with a love of materials that feel alive. My pieces often mix paint, collage, digital elements, and found textures, reflecting the layered, imperfect, beautiful reality of being human. I’m drawn to vivid pinks, teals, yellows, and iridescent lilacs — colours that feel like emotion in motion.

Mobility challenges changed the pace of my life, but not the shape of my creativity. If anything, they sharpened it. These days, I work from home, surrounded by bookshelves, beads, art supplies, and two small dogs who think they’re studio assistants. My space is a living mood board: warm, expressive, and full of the things that make me feel most like myself.

I’m 51, and I don’t believe in shrinking with age. I believe in expanding — in colour, in expression, in self‑knowledge. My style and my art both reflect that philosophy: soft rebellion, playful maximalism, and a refusal to disappear.

Whether I’m creating mixed‑media pieces, designing colouring pages, animating my artwork, or writing about the creative process, my goal is always the same: to make something that feels honest, warm, and a little bit magical. Something that reminds people that creativity isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence.
If you’re here to explore my art, follow my creative journey, or simply enjoy a world built from colour and curiosity, you’re in the right place. Welcome to my studio.
