I’ve had to heal myself from trauma too many times in my life. I’ve been going through something recently that has torn me inside out, a type of grief that has no ending, no finality, no closure, no chance to say goodbye, but instead, left an open wound that will never heal, lost moments and no more memories to be made. Finished giving my paint brush pots a full glow-up, from plain black to bold, colourful and completely me. I love how a simple upcycle can shift the whole energy of a workspace. I drew her onto patterned tissue paper, glued her into one of my handmade journals, then built the background with a blue Posca pen. Finished her with Pitt pen outlines and a floral stencil to pull everything together. Loving the mix of vintage, colour and texture. Bringing my art to life with MetiAi Forgot to post these. I came across a tutorial to draw these #whimsical houses, but the pen I used to draw them wasn’t waterproof so I ended up finishing them with #acrylic and #alcohol pens rather than #watercolour #paints I wanted to use.
